Presently Living in Germany
I was granted an scholarship for PhD in Europe, but I was reluctant to go there by myself, leaving my six-year-old babygirl behind with my ex-husband who abused me whilewe were together. My plea for having custody of my kid had been rejected by court earlier citing Bangladeshi family law limitations.
Even though my husband had been remarried, I wasn’t allowed to have my child’s custody. But, I didn’t loose hope, I kept fighting and now I am in Germany, doing my PhD, and guess what? I got my princess’ custody!
