In 2015, after ten years’ continuous effort, Wang and her team had succeeded in developing educational material on rural culture and bringing it into school curriculums in various rural minority regions, to help preserve rural culture heritage in those areas. Their vision is to build up among the pupils an understanding of, hence the confidence in their own culture, so they would preserve it within themselves. With that, they could develop their own unique ability and direction in future. It is hoped that more children will remain in their home villages when they grow up, to reduce the number of empty-nest villages.
